WHY VISIT

Why add it to your itinerary?

01
Discover daily handmade pasta through the flower-shaped noodles

Imported flour is used to make fresh pasta in-house, with different shapes offering distinct textures. The flower-shaped pasta is particularly good at catching sauce, giving detail-minded pasta lovers a chance to compare how handmade shapes perform.

02
Chargrilling and frying show two sides of seafood

The squid salad combines charred aroma, lemon vinaigrette, and crisp vegetables for a refreshing feel, while the fried seafood uses a thin coating with dill mayonnaise and lemon. Ordering both makes it easy to compare two different seafood cooking styles.

03
Wood furnishings and an Italy map create a warm atmosphere

A cream-white exterior and arched windows welcome diners, while warm pendant lights, a wooden bar, and a wall map of Italy set the tone inside. The spacious, warm setting suits both meals with friends and dates.

04
High visibility backed by more than 1,000 reviews

Google currently shows about 4.1 stars from 1,425 reviews, giving first-time visitors a straightforward reference point for the restaurant’s popularity.

THE STORY

The story behind this place

From culinary training in Italy to an Italian table of his own

Chef Li Xin-Zhe originally worked in sales for an international adhesives company before his passion for cooking led him to change careers. He went to Italy for culinary training and interned at a hotel in Florence. After returning to Taiwan, he gradually developed PapàRoy from a private kitchen in Yonghe, bringing what he learned in Italy to Taipei through different handmade pasta shapes and sauces that express his own understanding of traditional Italian flavors.
